2. Acceptance and permitted use
By using this website you agree to comply with these terms and applicable law. You may use the site for legitimate information and business purposes. You must not attempt to gain unauthorised access, interfere with the site's operation, introduce malicious code, scrape protected material or use the site in a way that could damage TES or other users.
3. Website information is not a binding quotation
Website pages, project descriptions, prices, examples, specifications and service descriptions are provided for general information. They are not a binding offer, specification, promise of availability or quotation. A binding quotation or project agreement must be issued or accepted in writing by TES.
4. Quotations and project contracts
Any quotation, scope, drawings, specification, exclusions, programme, payment terms, warranty terms or other written project documents issued by TES will govern the relevant works. If there is a conflict between this website and a signed project document, the project document takes precedence.
5. Solar calculator and other indicative tools
The solar calculator is an educational planning tool only. Its results are estimates, not engineering designs, guarantees of generation, savings, payback, export income or system performance. Results depend on roof dimensions, usable area, orientation, pitch, shading, panel technology, inverter and battery performance, electrical demand, tariffs, export arrangements, DNO requirements, grid constraints and site conditions. A site survey and professional design are required before a solar proposal is accepted.
6. Project information and client names
Project values and descriptions are intended to illustrate TES experience and may be approximate historic contract values. A project description may refer to TES's electrical scope rather than the total value or scope of a wider construction project. Client names, trademarks and logos belong to their respective owners. They should only be displayed where TES has a lawful basis or permission to use them.
7. Intellectual property
Unless otherwise stated, original TES text, graphics, branding, logos, layouts and other website material belong to TES or are used under licence. You may view and print reasonable copies for personal or internal business reference, but you must not reproduce, modify, republish or commercially exploit TES material without written permission.
8. Third-party content and links
The website may link to or embed third-party services. TES does not control those services and is not responsible for their content, availability, security, accuracy or privacy practices. Third-party trademarks remain the property of their owners.
9. Availability and security
We aim to keep the website available and accurate but do not guarantee uninterrupted operation, error-free content or that the site will always be free of vulnerabilities. Planned maintenance, hosting issues, plugin updates or events outside TES's reasonable control may affect availability.
10. No professional advice from website content
Website information should not be treated as a substitute for a site-specific electrical survey, engineering design, inspection, testing, legal advice or financial advice. Electrical work should be undertaken by appropriately competent persons and in accordance with the requirements applicable to the particular project.
11. Liability
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation.
To the extent permitted by law, TES will not be liable for loss arising solely from reliance on general website information where no contract has been entered into with TES. For contracted works, liability will be governed by the applicable project contract and mandatory legal rights.
12. Privacy and cookies
Use of personal information is explained in our Privacy Notice. Cookies and similar technologies are explained in our Cookie Notice.
13. Changes to the website or terms
We may update the website, its content and these terms from time to time. The version published on this page applies to use of the website after the relevant update date.
14. Governing law and jurisdiction
These website terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. Subject to any mandatory statutory rights, the courts of England and Wales shall have jurisdiction in relation to disputes arising from use of this website.
